Ryuichi Sakamoto’s Touch Wood Phone for NTT Docomo Move over Iphone the new Japanese Touch Wood Phone is impressive in its technology and in its philosophy.  Created to look good and more importantly raise awareness of the type of trees that we are losing at an exponential rate, this piece of technology is commendable.  “The phones are being created as a joint venture with the ‘more trees’ reforestation project founded by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto and others. They are made with specially treated wood from the thinned forests in Japan managed by the ‘more trees’ project.
